New River Voices Choral Society brings people together through the joy of choral music. Here in the New River Valley, we’re building a place where every voice can help create something meaningful.
We welcome singers of all ages and backgrounds, with no audition required. Whether you’ve sung for years or are finding your voice for the first time, there’s room for you in our harmony.
As a Virginia nonprofit organization, we believe community music belongs to everyone—and that the connections we make can reach well beyond the rehearsal room.

Do I have to audition?
No audition is required. We welcome singers of all ages and backgrounds. Email our director to learn how to join.
Which voice parts sing in the choir?
We sing in soprano, alto, tenor, and bass sections. If you’re unsure where your voice fits, reach out and we’ll help you get started.
When and where do you rehearse?
We rehearse Mondays from 7:00 until around 8:30 p.m. Beginning October 26, 2026, our venue is Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 1845 Cambria Street NE in Christiansburg. Contact us to confirm the schedule before your first visit.
How can I support the choir?
Attend a performance, invite someone to join, or contact our director about giving, sponsorships, and other ways to help.
